Finally got my trex 600 3g unit dialed in!!!!!
First couple of flights I set the 3g end points with not enough ail/elev pitch. Didn't have no locked in feel (very disappointed)
Then I set the ail/elev to 12deg and left the ail/elev travel that way and way to sensitive!!! almost wrecked.
After dialing down the swash mix throws I had a slight drift to the left.
After watching a youtube video I learned to strap the gyro senser down semi hard with a velcro strap.(solved that problem)
After a few flights and dialing in the 3g ail/elev sensitivity
(ail maxed out. elev about 10:00)
The sucker flies great.
I never tried to big of tail slides with my Raptor50
But with the Trex 600 3g Im doing huge tail slide loops with a total control feeling.
NOW I KNOW WHAT ALL THE FLYBARLESS HYPE IS ABOUT!!!
Im hooked!!!!
I did have to play with the main blade grip tightness to get rid of the spool up, spool down wobble, but its minimal now.
Oh, one more thing.
I had a hell of a time checking blade tracking, If the blades are out of track then the heli wobbles on the groung which made the 3g unit and swash go crazy.

Glad to hear you got it dial in.

I have to agree out of the box the 3G is way to sensitive,

I set my expo on 2 in the software, and then I dialed in some crazy flip and roll rates. It is awesome, I agree.

Glad to here you are loving the 3G as much as me.

I never had that many problems and have never used the software.

The new thing for the 3G sensor is to open it and use a electronic adhesive to connect all three sensors together. It really seems to help the unit function better. I have heard that Align is now doing this from the factory. Not totally needed but I liked the feel better. It got rid of some bobbling I had.

I need some decent weather so I can really put it to the test. But the last flight I had I think I got rid of all the bobbling.
Is it normal to have the aileron sensitivity turn all the way clockwise?(maxed out) I do some hard side to side movement and don't notice any bobbling. The bobbling I had has elevator but I manage to dial it all out.(elev sensitivity at 10:00)

I have seen many people talking about this mod to the 3G unit. I just got one of these, can someone point me to a place that has the mods listed for the 3G Unit.

Thanks,

Rocco
