Anyone got any side by side pix of their 50 and 90?
I'm still interested in a bigger heli but when I see the pix,a .90 just doesn't seem that much bigger.

Are they really that much easier to see at a distance?

I have to turn my 50's back at around 150 yards.
I literally never use the word literally right.

Yes they are quite a bit bigger i think, and also easier to see. I don't have a 600 sized, but here's a picture of me with my 90. Granted i'm probably a little smaller than you but you could probably get an idea. The Rave is also a little bigger than a heli like the Trex 700. What heli are you moving up from?

This might help, although the 700 isn't at same angel as 600.

as you can better see by Hellsiege's picture, i think you will most notice the size difference by tail boom length, and also size of blades, rather than size of the chassis

I just like how a 90 flys slower - least mine does, I guess it's all depending on setup. I fly them the same distance out left to right wise and well yeah probably do keep 90 further away from myself The 90 sure does suck up more fuel though...

not to mention, if you're a competition flyer the 90/700 sized will definately give you more presence . Have you ever seen someone compete in the 3DM with a 450Pro?

Thanks guys.
It looks like there is nearly no difference at all in apparent size.
Just a very slightly bigger rotor disc and longer boom.

Ern,If I had the money a 700E would be sit'in in my fleet photos!

But as it is, I have the 600N and the 700N... after you fly the 90, the 50 will no longer feel like a large heli!

My Frenzy 50 flybarred flys "bigger" than my Trex 600 FBL.
I think it's mostly weight.

I'm not sure I want one to fly any bigger.
I would only like it to be easier to see.
Maybe some brighter colors are in order instead of a $2000 heli.

Tic toc a 50 in front of you and then a 90 in front of you, and the rotor disc will seem a lot more than slightly bigger between the two.
Still buyin' and flyin' then crashing and cryin'

Taller, longer, heavier (10-12+lbs), monsters in the sky power wise, suck fuel like nothing else, very serious machines (not to say they all aren't, but it gets a bit more respect in every way). After flying a 90 in a brisk way the 50 seems like a toy....lol.
