erratic hovering
Hi, I m novice but have many batteryes trying to have a decent hover, and no way!!
all checked and seems to be ok, but I have some free play on Swash (1mm at horn end or so) servos (Corona 929MG, until my Hitecs arrive)and some free play on both parts of Swash (Copter X) could it be this the reason? or I have to turn to autoslot??
Copter X450, Gyro: ASSAN 410 pro; Radio: Futaba 7CHP 72Mhz

well it may or may not be what is causing you to not be able to hover, but you definately shouldn't have play in the swashplate. What is going wrong in the hover? are you having trouble controlling it or just keeping the heli still?

Well, what heli are you flying? We could use some more details to help you isolate the problem. It could be a number of things from bad trim, bad setup, or anything. What exactly do you mean erractic hovering? It could just be over sensitive due to over super high headspeed. Or too much throw on your cyclic. Please follow up with some more info and we'll be better able help you figure out what's going on. Good luck and happy new year!Mellisa
