They seem to crash less, but this is probably the worst crash I've seen
Tail boom ripped off
Fuel tank came off
only thing that looks usable: nothing

OH WOW! that was one heck of a crash!! I wonder what went wrong? almost seemed like he pounded it in order to save the spectators. The first pull out of the tailslide seemed fine. Nontheless, horrible crash!

Looks like he hit the ground on at the end at the exit of the tail slide and from there he put it in the dirt.Xera Motors

maybe but i don't think he hit the tail or anything or lost power. It seems pretty obvious to me that, coming out of the tailslide he realized that he was going too fast and he decided it smarter to sacrifice his helicopter than the life of a person . Either way, quick thinking!

looks like Nick kissed the ground in that first vid there and lost tail authority, then decided to use the parking brakes to keep from loosing it into the crowd.
