X50 canopy build
When installing the canopy bracket as shown on page 29 do not use
the dimples on the canopy as a place to drill the holes.
Instead push the bracket in as far as it can go before you drill
the holes or even take a little material off the canopy or
the grommets will be short of the canopy retaining post by about
half an inch. ASK ME HOW I KNOW.

Might want to trial fit first, mine worked well in stock position with bracket attached in dimpled locations.

It does seem short, but easily pulls into position when mounting the canopy, and that keeps things nice and secure. Tight is good! Loose allows parts to shift and vibrate which will cause premature wear.
