Mine arrived today. Ken Block colors. I bought it for my son’s N5 that will be under the tree tomorrow. Ready to fly of course by dear old dad.

Nice Ralph,

Sorry I have missed your phone calls. We are on vacation for the next week and won't be back untill the 1st of the year.

I'll give you a call when we get back.

Thanks,
Chris

Enjoy the vacation.

Let's talk about the Northwest N5 fun fly when you get back.

The N5 canopies shown at our field in Snohomish today. Both are flybarless. I just built the green one for my son.

Those look pretty sharp Ralph! Justin ended up coming up here to fly instead of me heading down there. Now I wish I would have came down since you were there. I'd love to see the new canopies in person. I'm really considering getting one for mine. Is it smaller than the stock one? Any lighter?

Put me on the list for the N5 fun fly for sure as well.

It is the same canopy as the stock one.

The weight for the stock blue and orange scheme is 5.1 ounces

I weighed a spare green one and it is 5.0 ounces.

This difference is most likely based on mil coverage and the weight is in the white base.

Look at the two and see how different they look with the changes in paint lines

Thanks a bunch for the info. I might end up with one sooner than later after a bad crash yesterday. The tail destroyed itself midair so it locked the head and came down hard. The joys of working the kinks out!

I'm looking forward to what the "new shape" N5 canopy will look like. Never cared for the current canopy shape...
