Anyone here ran an inertia 860 gyro on their 450SE
I cannot seem to get a wag out of my heli, I used to have a 401 on it and it worked great, since the 401 I put a torque tube in and the inertia.
Just wondering if it might be a setup issue

Had one on my Mini Titan w/JR3500 servo and tried everything to get it to work well, finally gave up - works great on a 50 but was never happy on the small heli

Have you tried lowering your gain? The inertia and the 401 use very different gain values. The inertia being much lower than the 401 generally. I had a really bad wag (almost a glitching) with an Inertia 860 and it turned out to be bad solder joints on the board. Once I re-soldered them it worked fine. Don't expect this gyro to last very long though. Due to poor build quality these will most likely die on you after a crash or two. One thing you will get when it goes bad is an unfixable tail drift.Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery, Today is a GIFT

I have had to totally opposite experience, I have had my inertia for about 18 months, and many crashes, and it is working great? I moved it from my V1 to my Pro, when I got it. and it still lives there rock'in and a roll'in. S9257

You are a lucky one. I've had three actually go bad on me. One after a crash and two more that just went bad on their own with no crashes or anything. One was waranteed (sort of, gave me a used one that also went bad) and one I was able to fix. So out of three I have one that works but it required me re-soldering the board. Many friends had the same experience I did so count yourself lucky.Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery, Today is a GIFT

I have one on my 700 too, no troubles, but I don't crash that to often so I did not mention it... But the 450 is a crash test dummy, I could not tell how many crashes... 20+ though.
