I got the Thumper nickname at work, some 25 years ago. Because I love guns, I just added the last part of The Terminator to get Thumpernator.

I built one of my gyroplanes around that theme. Notice the rabbit with the machine gun on the pod.

Back when I started in the RC hobby I had a favorite 4x4 off-road monster truck from HPI, the Savage. I would fuel it up and beat the snot out of it. I savaged anything with a remote. Then one day I discovered the 3rd dimension - UP! I sold all my off-road toys and moved to helis. The name stuck with me as I've been known to savage a heli now and then. Once you try steak, is hard to go back to hotdogs.

I like to play shoot'em ups (Call of duty, Battlefield, etc...) and my screen name is Lt_Rogman. For some reason Rogman was taken so I tagged on my favorite number "88". Rogman came from Iceman on Topgun. My first multiplayer game was Xwing vrs Tiefighter so I had to have a callsign. Rogman gave me a custom name semi related to IcemanHigh Voltage just works better

I loved my Trex's so much, I liquefied them, added a touch of barley, fermented it for 6 months and drank them just to be closer to them.

Periodically, I buy kits just so I can do it all over again.

p.s.- I tried to branch out and do the same with Outrage...tasted horrible!

p.s.s - Yes, I am currently in therapy...AAA (Align Alcoholics Anonymous)

When I joined Runryder, I had a Gasser heli with a 23cc engine. I thought it was the coolest heli ever. After many years and several forums later (use the same login name in all) I don't have the heli, but the name stuck.
