ESC and motor wires. Soldering question!
Hello guys, I would like to know what is your opinion about removing connectors and soldering the esc wires directly into the motor wires...
Is there any significant advantage in terms of power?
Thanks

Don't know if there is any more or less voltage loss by doing this but it would severely limit your ability to work on the model or troubleshoot on the bench. There may be times when you need to work on something and the only way (safest way) is to disconnect one of the motor leads, such as setting up a speed control properly.Team Synergy/Rail, Team Scorpion, YS Engines, VelTye

there is NO significant advantage other than a solid connection.

some vendors even recommend crimping rather than soldering.

Thanks guys!
I have seen different points of view about doing or not this mod.
If there is no real or noticeable advantage, then I'll keep the connectors as they are
