big_swede,

Currently we cut or sand the standard dampers down to soften them up. There will be softer dampers out soon I believe.

Cheers

Ditto...
I put the damper on the axle, chuck the axle in a drill and sand down with a fresh Dremel sanding drum while the drill is spinning the axle. I sanded mine down so they are a light press fit, while still on the axle, into the head block, dry. When assembling the head, I lightly greased the dampers, head block and axle with silicone grease. The dampers will tighten up a bit when the axle bolts are tightened. The result is a progressive tightening with no 'free play' at center, but not rigid at center like un-modified dampers. They haven't loosen up much in @ 25-30 flights and I'm able to run between 1400 and 2000 rpm with no mast bumping. Granted, you can see head nodding in a hover from F/A cyclic inputs at lower rpms.
