Something is not adding up - Jive ESC
First things first, I have a logo 600 and Xera 4030-470kv motor(12 tooth pinion) with the Jive 80HV ESC(mode 4) running on 12S.

I completed the throttle calibration and ended up with 92/92 on the endpoints.

Next was the governor. I started out with a 50% throttle curve, spooled it up, tached it and it was well above 2200. I had to dialed it down to 35% to get a 1900 HS.

So what gives? Btw, I'm using the Futabu 8FG... that I'm still learning to use. So maybe it's a programing error?

Thanks for the help

Did you have a 0-100 curve while programming?
I sometimes reset it with 0-50-50-50-50 curve and then you get this effect

Redo the Mode1 & Mode 4 with a 0-100 curve and 100/100 ATV.

If that is not the case, I would take off the blades on the heli and move throttle upp to see if headspeed increases, could be that you got a motor with wrong wind compared to what it says on the can, but motor manufacturers test their motors (most of them), so I doubt it.

I reset my throttle curve to 0-100, reprogramed the Jive and it's working now.

Thanks Mr Mel

Anthony, and one thing to note just in case. Always, always start up, spool up and fly only in "FLAT" throttle curves. Otherwise it can scramble the timing is all. ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
