any decent standard servo will work fine. However, some feel that using a 9254 or other fast digital is the best. Me included

I wasn't sure if the DS620 would be compatible with the GV-1, i herd rumors that is was not. any one ever use that combo, if so let me know cause the DS620 is less cost than the S9254.watch me fly this, don't worry, read the book that came with the heli!!

Any digital or analog servo with a 1520 pulsewidth will work fine with the GV-1. Ideally, something in the .15-.19 speed range.

You may want to consider getting the GY701 though, much nicer governor (AND Gyro).

The DS620 will work fine.

No reason to use a servo that costs more than 30 dollars on the throttle, especially with a GV1Andy

I was using $18 servos on throttle for long time. I decided to splurge a bit and went with a $30 servos.

0.05sec servo still will not make up for poor tuning. At our poor skill level, we just could not see the difference in performance due to throttle servo speed difference.

However, not everyone buys based on actual need. So, for bragging rights, one should put 0.06sec HV 200 in-oz titanium geared servo in the throttle servo bay.

9252 for the throttle with the GV-1 or GY701. The 701 is a bit better than the GV-1 for maintaining constant RPM.Team Synergy/Rail, Team Scorpion, YS Engines, VelTye
