Newly Accquired 600E
Hey guys, I recently acquired a stock Trex 600E w/ the stock 600 motor and the stock 75A ESC (all brand new). I don't do 3D and this was purchased with the sole intention of going into an Airwolf fuselage. Do you anticipate I will have heating problems with this setup on a 6S 5000mah setup running at approx 1750rpm on the head? I've read that these motors get pretty hot in the pod and boom configuration and putting it into a fuselage may just compound the problem. If this is a concern, would you recommend something like the Scorpion 4025-1100kv motor (5mm or 6mm shaft)? Would this motor work with the stock 75A ESC or would I also need to upgrade to maybe a CC HV-85? Don't know alot about electrics so I'm trying to feel my way through. If this wouldn't be the ideal setup, what would you recommend for an 8S setup?

Wow, that brand new stock you mention must be 2 years old!

Anyway i believe the old 75a esc you have could probably do scale flying duty with a low 1750rpm HS no problems. As long as you dont do any scale pitch pumping it should not burn up. And dont use gov mode. Mid timing should be fine. No need to change esc or motor at this time. 6s system is more than adequate for scale flying.

Btw the stock 600 i bought 1 year ago already comes with 100amp esc and 650L motor.
