You guys are talking about using 12.9 grade screws, My question is how does this compare to stainless steel if I just wanted to use stainless?

Stainless Steel is way to soft I would not recommend you use them. I put the KDE upgrade on my tail rotor hub that comes the extra bearing for sandwiching the thrust bearing and the aluminum pitch slider arms and the bolts in that kit are 12.9 alloy but I sheared one of those bolts within a 3 months and my stock align tail hub that has over 100 flight than the upgraded one is still going strong. If you feel you have to change em do so but I will fly align bolts without a second shimmer of concern.Raymond McFaul
