question
Hi, reading through the manual and the post here still not clear.
I understand the emergency switch can be flip and it will level upright/invert and give +ve/-ve pitch ( I remember asking Art for this feature on SK720 :-) )

But would I be able to configure if there is not input on sticks , then the heli will then auto-level it and give apprporiate +ve ot -ve collective ?

Because usually when I hit the throttle hold it is to kill the motor but the heli would have been on the ground as I would usually try to save it until i is too late. So if I could just in emergency , just let go of both sticks to stop stick input, would it recover itself.

What is really needed is a "Test" tab in the software. How cool would it be to have a basic rendition of the heli in "computer space on the screen" and then you flip the switch/let go of the sticks etc and actually see how the model reacts. If it doesn't react how you expect it too, then there is an obvious setup error. But if it does react as expected, then just go fly.

I'm sure the coding would be possible and it would add another distinguishing feature to the HC3-SX.

What do you say HeliCommand?

The HC3-Xtreme can be returned to Captron and be upgraded to an HC3-SX. The last I checked the cost was 108 Euro.

What setting are you guys using for the swash plate, Do you still use 3 servo 120 deg?? The manual says not to use any mix. Just a little confused here.

The HC3-SX is on a Radikal 30, 3 servo 120deg.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Still having a strange problem.

I have no Aileron output on the diagnostic screen but when I move the Aileron stick up and down I have output on the throttle output. The only time i see a output on the Aileron is when I move the collective stick up and down but then I have no throttle output.

Tail channel and gain channel are working but I don't understand why the Aileron output is all mixed up with the throttle.

I have a JR11X.

Swash type is Set at 1 servo norm
No mixes
all trims at 0.

I cleared all the info from the unit and tried to redo everything but nothing.

I'm using no receiver just the 1 satalite.

Anyone have any ideas???
Thanks
Joe

I had the exact same problem when setting up my Furion 6.
You need to change the channel assignment in the (RC) page.
For JR you want it like this... Also rebind after changing the channels.

Try this

Thanks again Rob,

I have it working so the swash plate is moving the right way now and the tail is now setup also.
Tomorow I will try and figure out how to setup the horizontal self leveling feature to work with one of the switches on the radio.

Do you guys think that 1 sat receiver is enough or should I install a second one also?

I can't believe how tidy the heli looks with no receiver, external gyro and just a few wires.
