that's awesome!! 25 years of CADD design experience here and I've always wanted to get into more of the modeling CADD/CAM field but there's not much manufacturing down here.
Good luck to your son!!

Thanks, He's enrolled at Mississippi State University in the Mechanical Engineering Program for next year. He's already been to orientation and has his class and dorm assignments already. He made it into the Honors program which gave him the chance to get into the first orientation.

Hi alan,

I follow your post a few time, I received my AS350 two days ago.

I like your work on the spotlight, the texturized paint is really nice, can you tell me where I can find this kind of product ??

I don't pretend to make new paint scheme, I like the original, only add a few details and open the doors, mayde the sliding door to, I have good experience on this.

looks like they printed it with that white powder, same stuff that those cannons i make are made of.
i found that dipping them into future floor wax works nice to seal them, then you can paint over them and most of the texture will be gone. that will look nice.

It was great to meet you guys as well!

Stan, My "Baby" the Cobra took a dirt nap not long after you left, I had just took off and it suffered some sort of electronic problem. It went in had nose first, but is repairable.

Bummer, my first scale crash....at least it wasn't dumb thumbs.
