buy a new head

Last thing you want to do is drive the helicoils down into the head and pop a piston, then you'll be buying a whole new engine.

who the hell typed hawkflier instead of hawkflyer? Must have been that red headed stepchild of mine

I did it with a brand new SAITO 91S (only two hours) I had to replace the head, cost me $95 !

ALWAYS START TO SCREWING YOUR GLOW BY AND , use the wrench only to tight it !

a trick taht I was taught was to push
the glowplug onto a short length of std.
fuel tubing and use that to start the
thread. It'll refuse to thread if it is going
to crossthread.

z11355; Good idea.

I in error put the glow plug into a socket wrench to install.

On my heli it hard to get to the plug by socket wrench much less by hand. I must try that fuel tubing idea.
