Every thing stock and from KDS to include the radio. ok well I will have to find where to amp up the rates in the ebar its self. I do have a CC bec pro I can use to cut out the RX pack. the only thing i dont know if the BEC is the one that got recalled or not. i have had it for a while now so it might be the one that is burning up or is that only the ESC from CC. My BEC pro from CC has a sticker that say REV. 2 so thinking im safe to run this one...

It's only the ICE ESC's that are on the recall list.

I stand corrected. Not aware of them going up in flames though. . believe that's only on the ESC's.

that very well could be. but just kinda don't want my 700 to drop out of the sky because of a 30 dollar part. ie the bec goes bad i have nothing to control my servos and that heli is heading strait down

There is risk for failure on every component, but if you're really concerned about the CC BEC, you could always get a WR Hercules BEC. But keep in mind that even with those BEC's there has been a report or two of a failure. If it's a true concern, then a RX pack is your best bet.

Boom support wasn't for the tail wag. On negative hard stops, boom support will be non existent due to extra long length beyond the critical buckling limit.

You can see how it will behave. Put the heli on the floor and hold the head firmly so it will not flex. Now put one finger on top of the tail case and gently press it down. You will see the boom support bend away with no resistance. Now imagine you doing a negative punch and stop the heli hard with positive pitch.

Only thing that is holding the tail is boom support, as the tail will want to continue its travel much like you being in a car with no seat belt in an accident.

* Safety Warning *

This applies to 700 mostly due to the mass of the heli. With the current design of the tail drive pulley, with 3mm pin, hard jolting maneuvers can put enough stress on the plastic to either break or shatter the tail pulley. This will typically only cause loss of tail that throttle hold and auto will be able to save the heli in most cases.

However, in the 700 main shaft fastening method, only thing that prevents the main shaft from driving up to the 2nd bearing is that plastic and plastic only. When the plastic cracks, the main shaft driven up to the 2nd bearing will cause the full negative pitch and lunge toward the landing gear side. I know that most do tic-tocs with the blade facing you so the danger is less.

If you are only sport flying, do inspect this pulley often until stronger or metal pulley hub is introduced. If you are flying hard, I suggest you put a large collar under the top bearing (opposite top collar) with a washer larger than the top bearing block opening. Leave about 0.5mm or 0.020" gap there. So, when the pulley cracks, you will only lose the tail and not create a full negative pitch condition.

We've only had a cracked pulley which we replaced. But, I did receive a full blown crash during a hard maneuver to warrant this posting.

I hope KDS works out all of the kinks in this model before it potentially gets mass distributed in the USA.

We dusted off our 700 for IRCHA after receiving much needed aluminum tail drive pulley for safety.

With following list of changes, the severe vibration above 2150 has disappeared. We are continuing the test and find that (not yet failed) plastic tail shaft pulley may not be sufficient for the 600 and 700 size. I replaced worn pulley after discovering it.

With exception of Ebar being slow on cyclic, there isn't much to complain about. I will be mounting the KDS FBL (Ebar 2) to see if the cyclic speed has been improved.

Below is from IRCHA this past weekend. Justin's skills has degraded from all that plank flying. Hopefully he will be back up on his heli skills soon.

Innova 600
So where can we get one? I was talking to a guy that was running the KDS tent at IRCHA this year, I did not get his contact info and I was wanting to try one of the 600's.
