I like that he used cheap Turningy stuff. My next heli will use the cheapest good stuff I can find. I know that is sometimes an oxymoron, but I know many just buy the most expensive equipment they can find. This is what I don't want to do. I want something that works yet is cheap as can be. I'm going to prove a point that we all waste too much money buying the top end sh1T. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, it is going in a TDR!

but like alway's,you post some off the wall garbage to boost your ego
some of his moves were behind the collective, don't have to be a pro to know this, but not all people can see this.
Didn't bog or anything
IMO no, he had the usual HS bleed off, maybe 150 to 300 at the most, 300 is on the outside, but I wouldn't call that a bog, as it recovered. Seeing it is electric, one would assume he's running quite a bit of pitch, or outside the torque pocket of the motor.
Sorry Bob but that 600E made your bigblock build look slow and alot less power
If you would classify a heli with a HS of 2500 RPM, 14+/- and 9+/- on cyclic with a HS loss under full load of 200 RPM as slow and a lot less power...I don't know what to say.
I also know that your flight time will drop ALOT if you give it to someone that can hammer it like he did
Yes, your guy did, I too can lay on Damien's collective, he gets 5 minutes, I can also tell you quite a few pros now have flown him and they get better flight time as they have better collective management. Something both I, and from the video I saw YOUR guy, have not mastered yet.
Hell, even at the end of the flight,it still pulled harder
watch the video again
Better get to work guy's,you have all winter to catch up with a 4 year old 12S 600E
I'll meet you half way this spring. I'll meet you half way and come with a real video camera, so it can be documented properly. Dubois PA seems to be the half way point, 6 hours for you and 6 hours for me.

You In?

Now you have the chance to
PUT UP OR SHUT UP

quite frankly, given your track record, I don't think you're man enough to do either, but the choice is now yours

have a nice day

John, your kidding right? Not even man enough to post the specs. I know it'll be some excuse like it's not my heli, some sort of secret thing or whatever. You're wasting your time John.
He's here to bash, not to share in a debate for the truth. Nothing to offer there.

Pilot looked better then the heli to me for sure. Rog's Logo vid showed more performance I thought. It may be true that electrics don't quit in the bog but the whole point is, that nobody can seem to imagine, is that Damien wouldn't have bogged in any of those moves in the 1st place. Yes, if you bog a Nitro, it gets ugly more so than an electric...everyone can easilly see that. But, the Nitro would not have bogged and made for the sloppy looking moves...particullarly on the sustained moves.

only a waste of time if the little prick doesn't show.

could care less who wins, if it's him I'll concede, and if he's man enough to show I'm sure he'll be man enough to concede if the table turns, BUT...

gotta know what's under the hood, need to post the specs

we all know Damien is a 2008 600N running OS 91HZ with conversion set, 2" extended boom, 2498 HS, 14+/- col, 9 cyc, edge 623 main, what more spec does a nitro have?

oh...sorry, VBar 5.1 with gov, 8717 throttle servo, but...
according to gum-flap-tastic over there throttle servo speed doesn't matter

Bob,
you guy's haven't even posted a video close to getting beat on that hard.Hell your keyboard fly's better because that's about all anyone see's from you .Still funny how you smack talk the pilot skill's being as you don't have any,you guy's hand the radio to a pro pilot "here Kyle, show what my heli can do that I can't do" hahahahaha ..Look at you guy's,turn it from E vs N into putting a pilot's skill's down then whine like kid's because you can't get any into..Not smart enough to know why ..

helixangle, are you ok?Meet you 6 hrs away, lmfao.PP the gas money and i'll love to come out and fly with ya.My 700E will kill that Bigblock, even if I put the Align motor back in it..

BTW,
I told you guy's 20 time's but for some reason you can't read..I said it's not my heli,I don't know his setup and he doesn't tell anyone. Can you understand that?If it was mine,I wouldn't have a problem telling you what it has but out of respect for a friend,I don't ask..And like I said, pay my gas and i'll be MORE than happy to come fly with ya..

and your building two more helis??
Look at you guy's,turn it from E vs N into putting a pilot's skill's down
when did I put his skill down, I thought he did some cool stuff and even comented as such, you should get some glasses gum-flap-tastic, I think your having trouble reading the words

like I said...

put up or shut up, be man enough to do at least one.

We have keyboard jockies...and we have video jockies. Same thing as far as I'm concerned.
Only thing that's real is being there.

And, the only reason to not post specs that I can think of is if your here to bash, nothing to do with the debate. It's like resorting to name calling because you can't challenge an argument. In fact, BS specs were posted. That's worse...shows a complete lack of integrity.

Would only come from the one getting into arguments more than any other on this forum.

I don't know Shawn...do you really think that Trex could outfly a Logo? I'd be pretty shocked if you saw it that way.

I've seen lots of 12s Trex's and plenty of Logos flown, and I've never seen a Trex spank a Logo...except for Damien of course.
Logo will out do the rex, due to weight of course even at same HS, that's just reality and format.

Damien, I don't know of a Damien only "chuckie", and sorry the demon sauce will only spank about 20% of the electrics I've seen online. As said before maybe in person it may show different, but in videos it doesen't nearly set me back like alot of recent electric videos at all, that's just being honest not negative even if you take it that way.

Now hell if its warm where any of you live shoot me a ticket in a month or so when I'm freezin abit and I'll come try the demon sauce Chuckie out myself.

all right nitro junkies, i spent the day yday with a gent called charlie, that has built a exact copy of tim jones nitro beast 120

flight times were about 6 mins, power was absolutely fabulous, and torque for loaded manouvers was off the chart.

he had to refine his build technique for the added donk, but by my reconing, its a strong as most of the electric 90 ships out there.

head speed and collective pop were exellent, and the model didnt seem in the least heavy, in fact it was like 30 grammes heavier than my hzr

it was id say a t700 with a 700mx , cc 80 35c pax combo sorta power.
you could squeeze more out of it, but you would be struggling.

but 6 odd minutes instead of 4 tho

Garbage...you and your friend are hiding something, your lying about something, what a POS

at least we are not cheating, next time bring a bird to the table who's specs you can post...OK gum-flap-tasic

now I know why you didn't give us a close up of the bird on the ground, we got non of the "gum-flap-tastic dolly shots" in all your other videos.

A decent compromise indeed. Probably a good place to be for most.

But, a 120 is only 32% more power than stock for a 700.
We're working on a 600...with 65% more displacement than stock.

That's why if I went for a 700N, I'd look for a bigger motor. Hopefully one will be available some day.

Shawn, take note. Damien runs 2500 and holds it and does it longer. 2250 is boring now. More pitch and HS = more power no matter how you slice it. No reason to back off. Show evidence of beating that....or just keep the name calling. Your call.

LMFAO,call me a POS if ya want but here's some solid fact's

1- Watch the video of the 12S 600E and see how bad you and Bob failed haha..

2- You use a header tank just to get more flight time when we all know header tank's are for chick's .Maybe that extra weight is making it slow and holding power back.

3- Read #1 again ..

Watch it John,,,,BS will agree to make the 6 hour trip,,,schedule a meet. Then, in 4 hours,,he will post "I was there,,where were you , you coward?!" Thats what he did to me,,LOL!

For the math challenged (BS);; you can't drive 6 hours there and then 6 hours back and post in only 4 hours. Can you see how that doesn't work out? It really shows your intellect.

Next time,,,,,,walk INTO the school and get some learning,,instead of flying in the schoolyard and putting children at risk!

For the record,,,BS challenges everyone to meet up,,,but I don't think he wants anyone to see him wearing the apron!
