I have a TR600E on 12S and a Furion 6 on 12S. The Furion flies better, but I prefer the characteristics and general authority of the 700's, and this new one is out of this world, no nitro compares, except in flight time as stated before.

225amps X 240 volts = 54000 watts = 72hp that's some wicked 1hp compressor
First mistake (at least in this post):

Welders don't output 240 volts . . . more like 18 . . . . just a $h!tload of current!

And this:
120amps X 44volts (nominal 12s lipo)= 5280watts = 7.077 HP
Only if the system is 100% efficient, which nothing is . . . Unless the electric guys are going to make yet another absurd claim of having discovered perpetual motion as well . . .

No, but the electrics definitely win in the efficiency category.

You know, we have a perfect example here. Look at Bladestrikes video posted a little while ago. Now, compare that to the Jason K test flying the Trex 700N. As far as the presentation of power, Bladestrikes flights are pittiful in comparison. (No offense Lon...your flights are very good and you have even improved quite a bit since the Aliens last took you Just look who I'm comparing you to. )
So, we have a Trex600e flight that is clearly, significantly lower power than a Trex 700N. And, much shorter too. Now, that bigger heli has a motor that is spec'd at 3.4 HP. Who thinks that the 5.8 HP readings have anything real to suggest? It is of no use to the discussion. None whatsoever. Unless you think Bladestrikes flight with a Trex600 was 170% the power of that Trex700 flight. If you do, then you are quite blind.

As far as the proof being in the flight, I bring up something even older. Show me a flight that matches that Trex700N flight in a Trex700e. Show me something even close. Show it to me in a 600e anything for that matter.

Oh yeah, and BTW, I did not think that assuming a pilot under a "contract" with a company would be flying what that company would like them to fly was such a silly assumption to make. Perhaps the above is why you often see them flying their Nitros. ;P

No they don't. The power plant that produced your power operates at about 45%. Then add transmission loss. Then.

Oh never mind.

What degree do you have to understand power applications to a science Mcrackin? I'd love to know your in depth education on this matter. As pointed out you can't even figure out your air compressor hp and the simple math involved? keep drinking those suds it gets more entertaining ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

The proof vids have been shown several times in this thread alone, you simply won't accept them. The only way to really know is to experience it, which you probably never will, but oh well...have fun with your puny little toy rc glow engine.

Lol I just had a vision of my first sighting of Mcrackin at this years Ircha! He'll be on a shiny red Massey Ferguson with a bumper sticker on back that says "I plow for nitro" and on the front I suspect some nice signature writing like "she thinks my tractors sexy" love it bud!! ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Man I leave for 18 hours and you guys put on almost 3 pages. Gonna take time to catch up.
You equate electric to a muscle car?
Muscle car = power, do you argue this?
Minivan = not so much
I'm baffled that the tron guys seem to think I'm wrong in some way and fight to change my views on electric.
No one ever said you were wrong. Nobody wants to change your mind. If you'd change your mind who would we argue with? Bob? Lon? Heck we've argued with them for 180 pages now, it's fun to argue with fresh blood...

Stay true to your inner feelings young grasshopper...
