If nitro engines produce so much power...why aren't lawnmowers using nitro? Oh wait at 25$ a gallon, that is gonna be one expensive yard trimming! How bout nitro weedeater? I bet a nitro weedeater would be lightweight, but wait...25$ a gallon...never mind.

That should get the poo off the bottom!

do you know why we use nitro in Xpensive models ?

maybe if owning a hot rod lawn mower turned my crank I might use high octane

Nitro
because it turns your crank

Because N guys have money to burn?
They make the engine more consistent, something else you don't know
I ran both with and without the OMI mod on several different OS .91's, and it definately was stronger with the mod.

Yes, it does...a lot like an N.

Read up on the Cline carb,it make's the motor more consistant
so it hold's the power better. You didn't stick a turbo on the heli LOL.I flown the EXACT same motor with and without the Cline carb, just made it more consistant .
regardless of what someone who's never had either says..
Is that comment to yourself because it's been that way so far .Here's pic's/video of mine so let's see your?Show us video of you flying your's or pic's of both?

Right, it holds power better. Anyone who knows anything about high performance R/C engines, knows that high fuel pressure to the carb(properly regulated of course) makes more power. That's why we used to run bladder tanks on the .049 pylon racers. The difference between having that pressure and not made a real difference. Same with the OMI mod, more than just better consistency. I know because I had several on several engines.

Man we've been burning up the web today! Just got back from flying the Logo a couple of times. I think I may be running it too lean. I may need one of those carb thingy's.

Only if it's inflammatory. No nice comments here.

Anyway. I slammed the collective hard and long today. Why? Because it's fun, I don't fly nitro so I can!

I have a felling that you don't even know where hover point is on the collective, lol. Full positive, full negative, full positive, full negative, cut power! hold on for landing!
