All that made perfect sense and is truth. My only problem is that it wasn't inflammatory enough to stir the nitro guys into retaliation. I mean they can't argue any of your points as they were so well spoken. What are we to do without senseless arguing for entertainment?

A well tuned nitro motor won't bog at all,even with crappy collective management running 14 degree's of pitch.Pro pilot's run around 14 to 15 degree's of pitch but I know of 1 that run's 11 degree's.The reason for running that much pitch is for fast stop's,popping the blade's ect...,not the whole flight ..When someone uses alot of pitch all the time (13/14 or 15 degree's),their flying look's like total poop.Them are called stick banger's and they stay a thousand feet in the air trying to be ASJ,BK ect..Them are the guy's bogging nitro's and blaming it on the nitro heli when it's the crappy flying..A high powered electric in the hand's of a stick banger look's like poop...

2 pilot's on the same lever but one with a 12S/600E (stick banger/light 3D) and one with a older 50 Hyper/600N (OK collective management/hard 3D.The nitro pilot will for sure be the pilot most will wanna watch,I know I would.I seen way too many 12S pilot's that need to go back to a stock 6S setup.

Rog, we gotta get out for a drink one day. We'd probably get into a match of who can drink the most and we'd sure wind up having a BLAST!
Shawn should come too....he can sure pop in with a damn good jab every now and then eh?

OH, and to sum up much of what was just said...these e-guys were saying the exact same thing a couple years ago, "in a couple more years...bla bla bla".
Oh...and one more thing, an 8 min e-flight is a lot more wimpy than an 8-min nitro flight. Yeah...electrics have a little more power, if you sacrifice a lot of time.

Funny you should say that Bob, because in the last two years the E's have gotten more powerful, and way cheaper. Two years ago they were about equal with the N's, but now they are way ahead! And be sure to stay tunned for more fantastic improvements!!!

Thunder puffer's are by far cheap and the 65C's don't last like you claimed.Buddy had 4 (2 flight pack's) out of 10 (total of 5 flight pack's) that didn't make it past 100 flight's.

14-15 degrees
On a high powered electric will just pull and pull. A nitro will eventually bog down. Collective management is a good thing though.

To the nitro only guys (are there still any?), if you want some info on how you can charge a li-po in 15 mins and make them last hundreds of cycles there is plenty of info in the E section.

No you won't have to buy any more nitro, glow plugs, engine bearings, piston rings, clutches, clutch liners, there will be no more chicken dances when you crash, no throttle servo to worry about, actually nothing to worry about at all apart from looking after your li-po's and as you can charge in 15 mins you'll only need 3... I know its crazy isn't it?!

(BTW I love nitro's, I just hate worrying about everything!)

But you are correct FLY BOTH! When your nitro's not working for multiple reasons, fly your electric!

Please don't make me post hundreds of nitro chicken dance video's! How much is it to rebuild an OS 55 and a new clutch again?

Also that is a battery venting not exploding, they are designed to vent like that and NOT explode as so many people claim!
