Dang Lon that was one rooting tooting blade farting flight there.

This is how my buddy chuck farts real close to ya and clears the flight line. It got me moonwalking rather quickly.

Blade farting yes Lon, but that 700E with the straight cut was SUPER noisy indeed!

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

OS 91 HZ-R
I'd hate to feed that thing. With nitro prices not declining and what, 6 flights per gallon. It may be ok now, but what in 3-4 years? At least the electric side is tending to get cheaper and showing that you get more for what you pay for with every year that goes by in terms of everything (charging stuff included) getting cheaper.

You know....all this talk about noise has me thinking. Why aren't electric lawn mowers becomming more popular?
Oh yeah....too expensive to maintain...not enough power to get the job done.

I just sold my Trex 700N to a guy in Alaska. He told me he got the heli and when he went to the LHs to get more nitro, the price of a gallon of nitro jumped to $50!!!!!! Apparently they have some weird restrictions on shipping there as he cannot get it shipped to him from the CON US as no shops will . He has to buy a pallet of nitro to get it shipped by boat to make it cost effective. He just bought the gasser conversion for it

I agree 100% Rogman, but for me in this hobby, money is not an issue.
I fly what I fly and love doing so regardless whether its nitro or electric.
Although I do prefer nitro more than electric. I love flying both and that's all that matters to me. Not how much power this or that can produce.
For the record. There will be a 600e added to my helicopter arsenal this year.

Rock on Cuzz!!! Unfortunately my daughters are in competition dance. That's a car note per month and a severe hit to my personal enjoyment

One day on my death bed I won't be thinking I wished I'd flown more helicopters though. But those girls being with me will make all the difference in the world.
