Hey Doug, that's a USB hat/nany cam that Rog is using. I don't think it even has a zoom function. Rog can tell us on here.Team Pilot for RCHeliWorkz

Yep cheapo hat cam with no zoom and I don't want that heli whirling around anywhere close to me as I'm learning that stuff. I flew over my head once when I was learning on my 450 and almost plowed it into a car behind me. No sir never again. I just have the hat cam to help replay when I crash to help me remember what exactly I did when I crash, but I do realize it doesn't help you guys muchHigh Voltage just works better

Thats cool Rog, I'm not judging or nothing but maybe take a step back and get comfortable with your orientations closer to you before piroflips. Just food for thought--- I can't do piroflips so I am not ganna say what the steps should be, just food for thought , thats all.

Now the hat cam doesn't show the heli as very close, but in real life it's not that far off and can be plainly seen. I think I just dumb thumbed it. A whirling heli that's rotating between 16 orientations every 3 seconds is kind of hard to wrap the ole brain around. I am fully comfortable in any one orientation, it's just the rapid changing of the orientations that makes me

My thoughts exactly there Rog!

If you've noticed, I haven't even tried any in a while, not sure if I'm even going to until I get a new/different tail servo on my bird and am comfortable that the piros are nice and consistent with the same stick deflection, and, both ways.

Got the year started off right with some mild flights today. Broke in a new set of Zippy 2650 packs on my 600. Windy and had to put the stickbangers back on cuz I broke up my FBL blades. Man those things suck on FBL. Cut my main shaft down 1 cm and the roll/flip rate now has to be turned down a hair on the vbar!!!

I got two flights in with my 450 at the field over by my house before the wind picked up. I was tempted to go home and grab the 600, but I figured that would only P.O. my neighbors

Out to our field tomorrow for some flying and a club BBQ Temperature is supposed to be in the mid 70's so it should be a good day! Sorry for you guys that are freezing your tails off
If it ain't broke, go fly some more!

I got one flight in today because of the over cast.

I'm using the nano-tech 25c 5000mAh 2x 6S1P lipos in my Trex 700E 510kv MX gov'd a 1750 enjoying 8+ min flight times. Putting back around 3000mAh.

beastx is nice. my piros drift a bit. but, i think the unit may not be level. i've got a microheli baseplate on the way. i've tried several times to mount it level on the stock plastic but it still ends up crooked to my eye.

i'll say this. i'm tempted to fire-sale my 3G and invest the funds toward another beastx for my 450.
if it ain't broke, break it.
