Is that canopy hard to see in the air? Just wondering if the darker colors would be alittle hard to see from a distance?
thanks
Jeff

evocrasher, you have a half tank of fuel in your SDX with it sitting on the dining table. You must not be married!

Just got the cyclic and throttle servos installed on my new SDX and put blades on it to check the pitch. 0 degrees at mid stick was perfect. Had +/- 15 degrees of pitch, WOW. Set it down to +/- 11. Set the Ail and Ele at between 6 and 7 degrees. Much more than that and the stabilizer arm hits the bottom of the blade grip.

So far so good, as usual with a Hirobo. Now to build the tail.

You'd probably love it more if you didn't have 2 foot of snow outside your door .

Thanks Denny.

It shows up well. Fusuno charges nothing extra to switch the base color (IOW from yellow to orange).Choose whatever you like.

You know going back to my Nitro days my Hirobo although a heavy heli was a great flyer. And many times I think to myself would be neat to still have it and be able to try what I know now on it, ever have those feelings? Back then Arizona Heli Bill did a few canopies including the one on my Hirobo.

Mine was the heli I first learned to hover inverted, seemed so damned exciting back then!

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

41F, partly sunny and 10MPH breeze. Decided to maiden the SDX. All I can say is NICE . Running the new OS55 rich I got three tanks through it with just some easy circuits. Stock build except for the hardened drag bolts. Still need to add some weight to the nose, it is definitely tail heavy.

Can't wait until nice weather really gets here, suppose to snow again this week, and really get some flights on it.
