Yes you can if they are ever in stock again. All depends on how long someone wants to wait I guess.

My Aurora is a nitro. I have a t-rex 700n also. The Aurora is just all around a smooth machine. I'm no pro by any standard but my T-rex has been a little shakey since day one.

Waiting to get an Aurora is worth it. AvantRC´s philosophy is that you might have to wait your turn to get a kit, but once you have a kit you will never have to wait on spare parts. If you buy something else, you´ll always wish you had bought an Aurora. You might as well just place a pre-order for a nitro or electric Aurora and then wait your turn. Then you´ll get the helicopter you really want. You have to understand that Avant doesn´t just ship to the USA. There are people all over the world who want to fly an Aurora."

Justin please dont take this the wrong way but if Avant really feels this way and they actualy came out on there website or somewhere else and said, the wait for one of the helis could take up to six or eight mos. I would agree. You cold then say that waiting the six or 12 mos for a kit for one of the most perfect flying helis to date is worth it. The problem here is they havnt said that. We have been told dates on many products that never come. And although avant themselves never came out and said it many of the people close to them said, Kit's are very slow right now but when the new place gets up and running with the latest greatest cnc machines this way of doing buisness would be a thing for the past. What really is concerning is that Some dealers cant even talk to someone on the phone or on email. The lack of communication is scary.Again not trying to bash and I know you are just sayin how you feel but I also have to do the same. Also another thing I hear is that the dealers are not ordering the kits.Heliproz has not been able to make contact with Avant in almoost 5 mos. So it is pretty hard to order kits when noone will take your order or even give you a ball park date and how many you could expect. Heliproz recieved a shipment of about 5 in april and about the same at the end of june and up until now they cant even talk to anyone.

No, your comments are fine. No offense taken.

If you're really serious about flying an Aurora, and if you want to fly a helicopter which is really something special that looks as beautiful in the air as it does sitting on your shelf, then be patient. It is worth it. The kits which are produced by AvantRC sell out immediately, and people all over the world want one of these helicopters so it takes a little while to get one.

Justin I agree with alot you said,I also am an aurora owner and have been trying to get another kit, The problem is that there are many people some of them who I fly with that have been on a witing list for a year in fact when my turn would come up I would offer the place in line to someone that dosn't have one yet. A close friend of mine has been waiting a year.If it is the case and you are going to have to wait 12 mos for what I said earlier is an awesome heli thats fine .Avant should still comunicate with there dealers Acording to the two dealers that I spoke to one of them the owner of the company that isnt happening

It looks like there is an ego trip going on between heliproz and avant. order your avant from another dealer and be happy.

this is kind of why i haven't ordered anything from heliproz in a long time. if I don't need avant parts I order from readyheli or helidirect, if i need avant parts it's amain or rc-direct. those companys actually keep real inventory and have good customer service. can't say the same for heliproz.

IMO I dont think it is an ego trip and as I use a few stores I have always gotten great support at heliproz. Let me explain. I talked to someone at heliproz and they said they have tried numerous times and they cant get anywhere. When the nitros hit the shelves back in may or june, They recieved around 6 kits. Around a month later 4-5 nitro kits showed up and as of now they have not recieved any kits be it electric or nitro. Now the reason why I tend to belive them is last winter I was talking to a head person at rc-direct I believe his name was john.I needed to put in a lengtly order so we wer on the phone for quite a while.I added my name at this time on there waiting list and asked how long do you think it will be. I was told that he had no idea because he could not get through to anyone most of the time. When he did get through he was told we are making kits for asia right now and you will be next. Make a long story short the date would come and go with no communication. I asked him how many kits has he recieved to date and he said .When they released the kit he ghot something between 7 and 10. About a month and a half later they got between 6 and 8 From that point on which at the time was like 18 mos they didnt get anymore. Those numbers above are ballpark quanity's. So I dont know what the deal is but everyone seems to have a communication issue with Avant So from what I have heard from two of there dealers sounds like nobody knows I guess they will show up when they do. I guess we should be happy that prts have always been available. Just stinks because it is an awesome flying heli.

If you're in the United States and you really want a kit, the solution is to place a pre-order with either HeliProz or AmainHobbies. That way when their turn comes up in line for an order of kits from AvantRC, they will make sure you get one.

The philosophy of AvantRC is that "you may have to wait your turn to get a kit, but you'll never have to wait to get spare parts".

I maybe a bit naive but I doubt China will place an order of 500 with Avant. They will probably clone it themselves if they have 500 to order.

Really? The E-Aurora frames AV920350 Avant e-Aurora Carbon Right Frame and AV920351 Avant e-Aurora Carbon Left Frame have been out of stock forever. Unless of course you don't consider them parts I don't need them myself. A pilot at one of the local fields I fly at cracked his frame and still waiting on getting them! However, I do agree with you that it is an awesome helicopter. One of these days I will have one myself
