If you are starting from scratch with batteries, there is nothing wrong with 12s, as long as you use a set-up that remains in the SE's head speed limits (1800-1900 max). There are probably more capacity choices with 10s (I can think of 4000's, 4200's, 4500's, 5000's, 5100's).

If you already have 10s packs, it hardly makes sense to buy all new packs for what amounts to a minimal practical performance difference in the real world.

As stated, Kyle flies 10S, as the original concept by Mikado I think was to be able to use all your standard Logo 600 10s packs with the SE, to keep costs of the conversion at a minimum.

Many have seen this vid, as I've posted it more than once, but here's a Logo 600SE on 10s at 1900 head speed. Depends on your definition of "enough" (-:

12s 4500 here. You'll need packs in the 1400 gram zone to cg properly or if heavier, possibly a small weight on the tail.Life is meaningful flying helis.

12S 30C 5000mah here. Perfect CG and no weight needed anywhere. Power vs weigh is nuts. Once you try steak, is hard to go back to hotdogs.

HI,

I am running Logo600SE on 10S and the standard HK4035-500 motor. I found that Kyle recommandations also fits my kind of flying. I am not at the same level as him, but about 1850 - 1900 RPM and +/- 11.5 in pitch.

I selected 10S because it is easier to charge 2 * 5S in the field.

Regards

- Erik -
