The 9452 is the replacement for the 9451. They're excellent cyclic servos. I have one machine that I've been running for 2+ years with them, and my friend has been running his for the last few months.

They are metal geared servos.A step up from 9252s a little quicker and handle 6.0V no problems. These servos are Premium for sure!!

lipo is fine. they dont want you to use wimpy NiMH cells which often have high internal resistance.

you will want to regulate down from the lipo pack voltage

Ignore the ni-cad warning, if you go lipo you need to regulate it. LiFE can go unregulated.
