I plug the electronic ignition straight to a 4.8v battery no switch. The heli will start nice, if it stalls which it does often it will not start again until I unplug the ignition and plug it back in again, then it starts first time.
This bird keeps cutting out from 1 min to 20 min very random So I don't take it past hover or inverted. I am also getting a glitch from the throttle servo which revs it self. I am running futaba 7c 2.4g.
Is there any way of testing the ignition and should I try another throttle servo I have some 3001 futaba servos new.

Any help would be appreciated as I just want to fly this bird but I have no trust in it.

Also main shaft one way bearing has been replaced, how long will this new one last.

i had the same problem with my throttle servo iam using a9252 i totally isolated the servo wire from the other wiring .however it could be the servo also.i hope this helps u

Make sure the sparkplug cap is fully installed. I had this once and found that may sparkplug cap wasnt installed all the way. You have to push real hard and it will seat properly. Should cover the whole plug.

Just by passed the gv1 and the throttle servo is behaving.
Just need to sort out the electronic ignition, it needs resetting with every start.

HT wire / Plug cap
Just check that you dont have a intermittant bad connection between the HT wire and the shielded spark plug cap like I did.

Bobmoser your the man. Plug cap needed that extra push over where the spanner fits. Found a picture from blade77 very helpful link.
Thanks for the help guys, the Heli did one hole tank with out cutting out today.

One other little trick that helps get a good connection is to put a little dielectric grease on plug. You can find this at almost any auto part store.
