I nominate all pilots that have made progress in their flying ability!

When pilots get to the level that I believe you are speaking of, they seem to be much of the same caliber. I think the best pilot would end up being the one with the most name recognition.

Since you excluded my two heroes, I got nothing.I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

My vote goes for Nick Maxwell and second for Kyle Dahl. On the other hand I really like Matt Botos's style even if he is older school.Team Synergy, Rail blades, Team Scorpion, V-Team

Difficult. For me, probably Kyle Dahl and Bobby Watts. Mind you, Tareq's smack is just phenomenal!Sponsored by CSM and QuickUK

F3C Precision Flying: Hiroki Ito (hes a god and can 3D)
3D pure smack: Daniel Katzav
Best overall bar none: Nick Maxwell

Nick kicked everyones butt in almost every competition this year but had machine let down on several (XFC). Still won the Masters and placed second at the heels of Curtis Youngblood in the FAI US Team Trials with very stiff competition from many. That is a serious accomplishment for anyone in the world. Wish him the best at the 2011 Worlds.

Put them all on the same team and we'd all fly their birds. (Two out of three ain't bad)

I agree Chago.

There is no question that Nick has the best overall skill set of any pilot in the world. He is already superb at F3C, and he just begun to really work at that. Right now, he has a serious chance of pressing Ito at the 2011 WC's. We have all seen well what he can do at the world level in 3D events. I wouldn't want to be the ones to compete against him at the next XFC. To say he'll be on a mission is an understatement.
