I was running a duralite 6v regulator on my trex600 with a hyperion rx pack. Recently the battery and regulator were damaged in a crash Now I've got the align 2 in 1 and a flightpower 2500mAh lipo on the 600. On the duralite I could check the lipo with the duralite load tester but the align 2 in 1 has LED's instead. So what should be the status of the green lights for me to stop flying? Should only one be off or can I keep flying till two r off? I'm just a bit nervous since I don't know how accurate an indicator they r. BTW my cyclic servos r JR 8717's and on throttle I have a hitec 6965.

I asked the same question about 6 months ago and got varying responses. So this is what I did.

I knew I should be able to make 4 flights, so I flew 4 times and noted the lights on the 2 in 1. I then recharged the battery, noticing how many MAH's the charger put back into the pack. The object is to find out the indictation on the 2 in 1 that will result in no more than 80% usage from the battery (plus some fudge factor). It takes a little experimenting, since we all fly differently, working the servos, etc. I found that with one green light, I can safely fly one more time and not exceed the 80% usage from the battery. No green light, no fly.

Others replied that they could still fly with just the amber lights. I like to error on the safe side.

Hope all this makes sense to ya.

Seems like calling it a day with one green light is the safer thing to do

The 2 in 1 is quite conservative.

fly with green (even if it's one green left)

Finish your flight on orange (you don't have to land immediately but if you are on the ground call it a day)

And Red...well..you know.
