I am trying to work on setting up my atg gov. with my 9c radio. I have been able to adjust the rpm using the aux channel end point screen. not sure if this is the proper way to adjust it? Trying to set a higher speed in idle 1 and idle 2 but cant figure out how. when in idle 1 mode the endpoint on the aux channel is the same as in normal mode and if I change it, it also changes to the same in normal mode. any suggestions?
thanks
Jeff

First try, make sure your ATV on the RPM channel is 140% on both ends.

Although I'm not familiar with an ATG gov but I do know this. Your ATV (endpoints) are always going to be the same in every mode. Were you expecting to change the endpoint in idle 1 to be different than when in normal? That's not going to happen.

I just noticed at a fun fly this summer the 3d guys would take off at a slower head speed and hover for just a bit then their head speed would increase quite a bit and off they went to the races. I assumed that the gov was set to different headspeeds. Were they maybe hovering in a normal mode with the gov. off and switching over to idle 1 which was set for a high headspeed for 3d? If that might be the case how do you set the normal mode to not have the gov. kick in? I am starting to learn loops and stall turns and think that the gov. might help out with these.
thanks
jeff

The 9C has a governor option which allows different headspeeds in your Normal and Idleups and off in hold obviously.
