Has anybody had an issue while putting the swash together that once you tighten down the 2x6mm screws on the top the ball is to tight to move around?

I hope i'm just overlooking something..Any help?

Not had an issue with mine, did you tighten the bolts that oppose one and other or start at top and work your way around?

I did.. took it all apart. Checked it good..shook my head at it, put it back together but when I tighten the screws then it gets to tight I can barely move it.

you should not overtighten it. Keep the screw slightly loose so the center ball is freely moving.

Locktite and tighten screws only enough to eliminate free play then let it set. You can re tighten later a little if the need arises.

I had the same problem. Luckily I had picked picked up some replacement bushing for the swash and was able to mix and match to find a good fit.

Talked to Andrew at HD. Did find out that they'd heard of a few swash plates doing this. He and HD are taking care of me without hassle and have already mailed a new one out.

first article of velocity 90 kit is same. it's very simple thing.
you have to grind white seal of swash ball.
use sand paper #1000.
when you complete this job. you can fit bolt.
