What’s the Price?
Sometimes Futaba goes overboard and comes out with something that’s twice as expensive as everyone else. I sure hope that they have competitive pricing.

Competitively priced compared to other FBL systems currently on the market.

Given how the GY701 is priced, I would doubt that they would price the product out of line.

The U.S. is better than Japan.
That makes it a little more encouraging that we may see it sooner than later, maybe.

Well interesting indeed. As said in another discussion there is zero doubt in my mind the inner electronics will be that of high quality. However as it has been learned by many other people making FBL it is the software/firmware that makes it all tick. The best guts means nothing if the rest is not all to par.

If this unit will actually have all 3 axis (truly) "speak" to each other, have simple working software and solid firmware it certainly can be a contendor. Now that accompanied by what level the beta testors are at, their input and how it is being incorportated will all play a huge part of this product for sure. Be interesting to see some further specs on what this unit has all together and how well it works. The FBL game has sure stepped up in the last year, that is one thing for sure!

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

If Futaba designs this system to be updatable they will be good to go. It does not matter how good and how advanced their electronics are, if the software isn't developed well the unit will not do what people expect.

I really wish they would have implemented the Rx in the amp box. this would have been truly all in one.

jetblue,
Can you give us any insight as to how it is going? Being it has the futaba name on it I have great confidence that the unit will be a solid piece of equipment.
