Futaba publish a new 3 axis gyro called "CGY750".
Also integrate governor function and very similar to the GY701 infrastructure. CGY750 let us know Futaba how to face the new market.

maybe staying w/ the separate sensor & controller/brains concept. the sensor looks pretty large (relatively) so it's probably an FBL system.

With a 3 axis gyro it almost has to be a FBL system.

That's neat, but why not integrate the receiver into the box?

If this is a flybarless unit, I will be very excited to get one of these. As far as gyros go, futaba has always put out an excellent product.

Don't want or need integrated FASST RX. S-Bus is smaller and better than satellite RX's from JR/Spektrum. A single wire from the S-Bus RX and you're done. What could be simnpler?

An all in one unit is just too much to repair/replace when it crashes. Integrated systems are not very versatile either. Try using an integrated 3 axis gyro/governor/FBL unit in a plank. It's just more than you need.

Keep things separate. It is easier and less costly to upgrade when new, more advanced products are available for the individual components too.

Regarding the CGY750, I would bet $ that someone with the initials MB is testing this unit out right now. I heard it should be available in early to mid 2011. Finally something to compete with the V-bar. I really like my V-bars, but I bleed orange and black.

I am a Vbar fan, and I also feel that if anyone has a chance of seriously competing with Mikado it is Futaba.

Well it's about time! THe 611 then 520 have been AMAZING gyro so this should follow in it's foot steps. After this hits the market then should come out with a CGY750F ---- F = FASST for you Fubata guys. Myself I'm JR radio guy and Couldn't be happier with my Skookum 720 just waiting on Govenor. Now JR needs to get off their butts and make FBL even tho I've never was happy with their gyros. Props to Fubata hope it's works as well as GY520..

Now that we have pics to see, I can't wait. I know that I will be picking up 2 of these for my birds.

I have a 701 right now on the Rave and could not be happier. This new flybarless system will be the cats meow.

THIS IS GOING TO BE HUGE! THIS JUST MADE MY CHRISTMAS!
