I flew my TDR for the first time today. I was really disappointed with the speed. It was really slow. Just kidding It was super smooth and fast as hell. It climbs like a raped assed ape. I was flying with a head speed of 1400 in Normal, 1600 in Idle up 1 and 1850 in Idle up 2. It is nice and quiet at 1600 and very good for rock solid aerobatics and mild 3D. I flew two flights for six minutes each and only put back 2250 mah per 6S pack. So far I love it. Great machine.

OK, here it is. The colors are not represented well in this picture. The color next to yellow is actually purple but appears to be black in this picture. I wanted to go with a more straight forward paint scheme kind of like the FAI paint jobs. I thought it looked great on paper but I am not real pleased with how it came out. The paint work was done by Scott of Ace Canopy and he did a real nice job and was very patient with me. The finish is great but I am just not happy with what I came up with. You guys wanted a pic so here it is. I'm loving my Rigid.

Depends on motor and battery...

my TDR with 4525 scorpion (which is about 3oz heavier than pyro) and 12s TP4400-45c batteries and 710 blades (185g) is about 10 1/2 lbs...

I know of others under 10lbs.. never seen one as heavy as 11 - even with super heavy 5000 packs...

The Turnigy (HK) Li-Pos for example are very good for the funny price ... many German Pro's are using them with great success
I fly them on my costum heli E-max 90 with no problems at all ... 90% batteries comes from HK or Taiwan other is just a sticker of company hehe
