How to tell the difference between Throttle Jockey Pro and RevMax?
One of these governors came with the heli I bought, how do you tell which is which? (No manual)

Other than calibrating it, setting it, and flying it, I don't know of another way. I owned one of each, and couldn't tell the difference.

But, you can ship it off to Kurt at Model Avionics and for $10 he'll upgrade it to Throttle Max and you'll be able to choose which function you want when you calibrate it. The TM will do both Rev Limit and Governor stuff, all in one small box.

If I remember correctly, the RevMax has a blue label and the TJ Pro had either a white or yellow label.

Ah ha, it has a white label! The reason I ask is that I have recently turned down my idle up throttle curve because the governor sensor came loose the other day and the throttle curve it fell back on was a tad too high, since doing that it kind of falls in and out of governor mode, I presumed the governor was engaged above 25% throttle. So am I right in thinking I have the limiter version not governor where it uses the throttle curve but just prevents overspeeding?60% of the time, it works every time!
