I finally have got my G20 radikal in the air and I am very happy with it.I am only doing forward slow flight and hovering.22 min flight yesterday and still 1/4 tank left.Thats a big jump from 6 or 7 mins on my electrics .
I did notice though that all the cap bolts on my radikal have developed a light surface rust.I store the heli in my garage beside my trex 450s and 500.They have been there for over a year and none of their bolts are rusting.Even the flybar on the radikal has surface rust starting. The garage is not damp as it has a burner going.
Should the bolts all be changed or should I be putting on something to protect the bolts?

LOL I have enough Century screws to build 2 Century 50s LOL, once in a while I do have a Screw with a bit of Surface Rust, but with just a touch of oil the Rust goes away and never comes back..

if you look close you will see a 7 year old Falcon SEv2 Screw in there LOL

Ok I rub on a little oil to see if it solves the problem - strange though none of the align stuff has rusted.

Down here in Florida, the humidity is so bad stainless can and will rust in what seems like overnight. It has to do with humidity, and wetness of the air where you live. My Radikal has a bit of rust here and there on the flybar, and a few screws, but some good 'ole Dremel work with a buffer pad and some red jewlers rouge, and a followup of REM-OIL spritz'ed on it and voila, no rust now, or anytime in the next 6 months or so! Still blinging out the rust free flybar!!!!

what does a dominatrix have in common with a heli? Both beat something into submission!

Yeah - I do get my fair share of rain here and I an not that far from the coast line so the air is pretty moist.I have oiled all of the bolts and they look fine now. I will need a bit more time on the flybar.
thanks for the info.
