I would get the full size, you can use it on any heli nitro or electric any size and it will be able to use the upcoming gov feature

I have a mini on my Logo 500SE and it is awesome. On my 600SE, I think I am going to go with a full size so I can isolate the sensor away from vibrations.

To get it away from the input wires which transfer vibrations. Basically for the same reason you would use a full size on a nitro.

This 600SE is my baby, and I am will to put all the overkill possible on her, and you cant stop me Ron!!!

Full size is for sure better. As was already said:
-Better vibration isolation
-Can use the upcoming vbar governor

Rumor has it the gov will rival Kontronik.

I dont get that. You still need an ESC right?? I dont understand how the Gov function will work for electrics.

I imagine it would use some type of inline motor phase sensor, or possibly some optical or hall type sensor on a main gear? ESC would be run in a "fixed end-point" type mode with throttle curves, and the governor function itself would be working actively on the throttle channel, perhaps similar to a nitro governor.
Rumor has it the gov will rival Kontronik.
I fully expect the V-Bar's governor to eventually surpass any built in, reactive ESC governor function. Pretty soon, you'll have better than Kontronik governor performance on even a crappy Align ESC.

Governor function will work on fixed throttle modes, ie so your castle your align etc, yes you will then get governor that works by using Mikados governor addition to the V5 Pro yes. At this point a direct comparison is not there, BUT I hear from those directly testing it that it is extremely impressive and far surpasses that of Castles 100% for sure. Exciting times ahead this is for sure.

I am not sure if in fact it will work that well with all ESC as far as i know its not as simple as increasing and descreasing the thr curve to get the gov well, this is where the timing and throttle response (which is differnt on each ESC) comes into play.

Hence why the kontronik is so exspensive, no one else seems clever enough to get the soft working as well.

I have a full size on my 600 and a mini blue on my 600SE. After setting up and flying the mini, I think I want to put one in the 600 too! So clean and easy!

Besides, seen what happens when a sensor plug comes out?

I love playing devils advocate, I I do think they are salient points.
