Maidened it today, and had not one single drama. More power would be good, but hey, we can always get bigger motors Flew like i cant really describe any other way than, like going from a 50, to a 90, and i only fly 90s. Got as far as piro tictocs, low piroflips and serpents. Serpent heaven

Thanks to CYE for a awsome chopper design. It looks like you guys meant it to be stretched

Super duper stoked with it.
Ill whack up some pics and vids later.

Very nice! What tail boom are you using? The gears fit right into the arrow shaft? Are there different size arrow shaft or is there a common size in diameter?

converting my nitro ENV to electric for AP use and this looks like a great option to pursue.

Heres a vid from later in the day. I wanted to do some hover practise, so i got a flag, but as usual, i got a little side tracked lol.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiPxuWXHy04

Setup is

ENV FBL E kit
Actro 32/2 560kv helimax short shaft ( The env has a special kit trick for the 3rd bearing support, for short shaft donks.)
Hacker Jeti Masterspin 125A
Desirepower 45c 2X 6s 5000 ( 100 cycles . well abused)
610`s cyclics on 8v
8900G tail on 5.8V
AR9100
NHP 800mm 3d mains
Vblades 110mm tails.

Streching was simply finding a correctly sized aluminum boom, a correctly sized arrow shaft, and Thunder tiger style tail wire extension clamp, with a cut of piece of tail wire.

I made the boom and TT 105mm`s longer than stock.

I had a friend with machines cut the holes in the boom.

I cut the arrow shaft to length, and installed tt ends from a JR Vibe 50 which are availible as a seperate unfixed part, and is compatible with JR, CYE and Align, perhaps others.

The TT ends are pinned as TT Raptor 90 TT1s are pinned.

2 TT bearings and 4 tail rod guides are used.

The stock tail boom brace is used.

The 12t pinion was reduced to 11t, and will prolly go harder still, going to 10T.

Looking great. A bit under power. You ought to contact Tim Jones and ask him about the motor he's working on with Castle.

I do hope the heli gods will forgive me for running the 3G unit, i know its not the best, just what im most familiar with
