Is a Turnigy 5000mAh 5S 25C continuous/30C burst enough for a Logo 6003D? I'm worried about the discharge rates. Running Jive 120+HV and Scorpion 4035-560.

5000mAh Packs are a little too-heavy (imo) for a L600 configuration on 10S
I like 30/40 (constant, 50/80 burst) and up for discharge-rate(s)
I run the Turnigy 5S 4000mAh 30/40C (x2) and the CG is spot-on

Have you already purchased these ?

People fly anything from 3700MAH-5350MAH on the L600, IMHO a pack around 4200-4500MAH is a good balance or power/weight/flight times.

Its upto you depending on your requirements

Just to note, those replys are assuming a 10S (5s x 2) set up.

Yes, 10S. I didn't state, but it was assumed.

i believe kyle dahl runs 10S 5000, so it should work as long as the packs fit. Bear in mind he runs thunderpower, which are a bit lighter i believe but shouldn't be too far off.

I'm very-satisfied with mine (2 x 5S 4000 30/40C Turnigy's),
I believe these are still the best bang-for-the-buck, although the new Voltz' are looking good (price/performance-wise)

I was able to shrinkwrap my packs together and not do any trimming to the inside-edge (@ the front) of the frames to get them to slide-in but, slight-trimming in this area is not uncommon

I ordered the 4000mah packs. Is 12 gauge Deans ultra wire big enough to make a series adapter harness for my Jive 120+HV? I'll be using EC5 connectors. The jive has 10 gauge wire - what size do the Turnigy packs have?

I was able to shrinkwrap my packs together
Here is what happened to my 2X5S when one was damaged in a crash and I couldn't separate them to save one of the 5S. Both the packs burned up, one cell at a time, so 10 little fireballs in sequence.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
