as I read some post on chinese RC forum,
I try to add a "Resistance type electric capacity" to prevent sparking during plug in the 12S lipo,
I did try these with 1/2W, 50ohm resistor on a CC HV85, iT WORKS!
But when I use the same resistor on a Kontronik 80HV
LED is blinking eleven times "Series resistance too high"
I think just because Kontronik will check the resistance once power on
I do think that's great
anyone have done anti-spark on Kontronik?
thanks for helping

5.6ohm 1W resistor is what you should use for Jive ESC.

Have a look in this thread:

I was advised by Kontroniks not to use spark arrestor circuit as it can mess up the initiallisation process.

just learn to plug in precisely and enjoy the spark

Spark is good. Lets you know the capacitors are working.

If you are using a series adapter for 2 6s packs, you can use a 4mm bullet connector in one of the adapter leg to handle the spark.

Typically, dean is short and sparks tend to mess up the contact surface. Using a long 4mm bullet inline will cause the tip of the 4mm to be damaged but most of the contact face will stay intact.

Connection sequence:

two battery to adapter
adapter to ESC
bullet connector

Same here.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
