Thanks Aaron29 for reply. You essentially a bit exagerated with numbers, but that's perfectly fine. Essentially you took 5 degrees as effective angle at attack of blade and computed around 35 degrees required at your model situation with relative movements. More over, I would say, that we can take not tip of blade but middle of blade, which will give even bigger numbers. We can take middle, because if taking tail blade holders as 0 (just for simplicity), at root there is no flow and at tip is it max. So integrating and taking as assumption that it is linear, we get middle ort somewhere around, which does not matter much.
Anyway, your computation makes sense. Thanks.

I also do not know gyro algorithm if it backs up, when it feels that it is not efficient. I doubt though. I think it just blindly keeps increasing pitch, trying to keep heading. In majority of situation, this behaviour will be fine, having enough force from tail rotor and keeping it in its effective range. If not, then, probably tail rotor size/speed/blades should be changed to provide better authority, otherwise tail blows. I personally think, that tail usually works in deflection of around 5-8 degress relative to wind and max pitches are used quite rare, at least for my level of flying.

it would be interesting to see a log of tail blade pitch from a seven min flight, and see what the max pitch average was and at what pitch the blades were most of the time. i was also thinking that due to the high degree's of pitch tail blades see some times that when align came out with the 450 "pro" they made the tail blades longer BUT narrower so as to not create as much motor bogging drag at very high angles, just thinking out loud.

i was not talking about angle of attack
at what pitch the blades were most of the time
i was talking about at what pitch the blades were most of the time through a flight ?

true, if you knew servo command position then you would know pitch.
