I just noticed I have one.
It's not real fast but is it OK for a throttle servo on a Hyper 50?

That will work fine. I have run them before for throttle.

That's a very good servo for the throttle. I've ran slower servos than that with a Throttle Jockey and it held RPM just fine for me. Throttle servos move so little when you are in idle-up mode really what you need is something that is reliable and not much more.

Actually, the DS8231 is only 0.01 second slower but since you run 6 volt and I run 5.9 volt,we should be the same.lol

I have no use for such a large throttle servo . Trade it for a smaller one . just my 2 cents .

Already have the Futaba and I'd need to buy an adapter for a smaller servo.
