Hi guys,

I just bought x9508 and R921 receiver. I found out futaba servo connectors dont't fit in to JR R921 receiver. This is sucked!

I want to buy spektrum high resolution 2048 receiver.

Is there any compatible issue between x9508 and spektrum high resolution 2048 receiver?

Thanks

Just trim the little key off the connector and they will fit. Or, you can remove the pins from the connector and put a JR type connector on it.

Lots of previous posts about trimming the Futaba plugs.

I did trim that key off futaba connector to fit on spektrum receiver.

JR R921 receiver connector is even smaller than spektrum's

I think I have to stay with spektrum receiver.

Thanks

Don't tell my two Raptors that. They both have the R921 receivers with Futaba servos/plugs.

Futaba connectors will fit once you trim off the little keying tab. Make sure you've trimmed it closely, and also note that the connector bodies have a slight chamfer on two corners. You need to plug the connector into the socket with the proper orientation.

And they are a very tight fit.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Here's another. http://www.hansenhobbies.com/products/connectors/tools/

I have the Deluxe Crimpers and they are great for making your own extensions or modifying the leads from your electronics.

I don't see a reason to change ends on them. Who cares if they fit tight?? isn't the whole idea to make sure they don't come out in flight? I have never had any problems plugging Futaba stuff into JR receivers.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

BTW, not that most people can tell the difference, but the 921 is 2048 when used with a 9503
