For what I'm guessing you need....No.I don't think so.

I think they are dangerous since you can plug them in backwards.

I literally never use the word literally right.

I see the bind post jack. That may work, but was also hoping to find a female on the end of a wire. Basically, so I can extend out the leads on something that already has banana plugs on it.

I just solder a bullet connector (female) to the wire and shrink it.

I would suggest E-Z Hook item #9284, Standard Banana Socket Panel Mount. They
are $1.31 and are easy to solder a wire on to. Then just a piece of heat shrink and
you are all set. And they come in 10 different colors (including red and black). -Steve

A line-fitting female 4mm socket is available in the UK, so they should be available in the US.
Shown unassembled and fitted with normal male type 4mm plug.
