DX8: Y harness with RPM sensor
I was wondering if someone smart here could post some kind of an electrical scamatic on how to make a Y-harness to use with my AR7100's rev limiter backplate sensor and the telemetry module. This dumb person would appreciate it.

Use the schematic shown in this thread. Just plug the lead that it shows going into the Throttle Jockey into the AR7100R instead.

Actually, in looking at it again, it is drawn for the Align sensor. When using the Spektrum backplate sensor, you don't have to swap the +/- leads.

AR 7100R back plate sensor
Just use a Y-Harness off the Sensor. Hook up to the TM 1000 using
a conector like the one that goes to the Data port on your TM1000.

BUT pull the red lead out of the JST mini conector. That goes to
the TM-1000 It will work just fine this way.

Hope this helps . I use it this way on all my Helis.

Can someone illustrate a specific diagram of the 7100R backplate sensor, TM1000/TM1100 and the splitter? The diagram from the post above does not match the color of the leads from the backplate sensor.

Is this a correct diagram or do I have the leads reversed on the telemetry module side?

Splitters
These things are great for making splitters and Y-harness.

On my 600 and 700 I have a Multigov and a tm1000 and i want to share the same Crank pin Hall effect sensor has anyone done this conversion and not ended up frying the multigov and or Tm1000.....
Adding a second sensor to feed the TM1000 just add some more complexity This post schematic is what i had decided to do but i have held off until i am at least the second to try it...
Since i seems to fry Heli's electronics without trying.....
thx

Just hook up the signal wire only. No need for the + or - wires. This is what I've done with my TM1000's and is working for me
