No flights today. Between family, home improvements, and work, I haven't had the time to complete the build. I'll possibly have to finish it up at the field tomorrow.

Finally got it completed ready to fly. Just need to fuel up and tweak at the field. Decided to change it up a little and had AceHelis paint the canopy. Always liked the clean lines and color of the prototype canopy so just had to bring it back

Pics aren't as clear because real camera flash batteries died so had to use phone to take the following pics:

NOTE(S): Electronics was pretty straight forward. The alignment tool for aileron & pitch servo arm and alignment hole for the elevator servo are great! Would suggest removing maingear and frame supports when trying to line up a servo wheel on the elevator servo.

DONE ...now I need to go fly!

Nice Ron!

Be another few weeks before you're back at our field to see it fly.

Thanks! Here are some at the field. Kinda crappy b/c taken with cell phone.

First flight only lasted a whole tank. Was having too much fun and motor cutout and botched the auto. Broke skids and bent the boom. Oh well, could of been worse.

For the few minutes I had it flying to felt great! Can't wait to fly it more!!!

FYI: Purchased new set of JR Vibe 50 skids. Unlike the original Vibe 50 gear I had initially, ver 2 of the skids do NOT require mod to fit. Simply bolt on.

Thanks! Actually quite the opposite, only way for me to wrench and make time for this stuff is to stay up really late

Hey pip, haven't seen you at the field in awhile or you just happen to be going the same time I'm not?

I wish.... My daughter picked up a second soccer team so she ended up playing on Sat and Sun. The good news is both her teams won their leagues, I am a very proud dad (as I coach one of the teams). Got out this Sat for a bit, wishing for a couple more nice days.

Can't wait to see the 55 in action.
