That is correct. I saw the new Vibe 50 at the IHobby show. It did have carbon frames, is suppose to be lighter and yes, pricing will be less than the current Vibe 50

I replaced the G-10 frames on my Vibe 50 and they are 2oz lighter than the stock frames.I weighed the stock G-10 parts that were replaced with carbon and the carbon parts were 2oz lighter, this included the radio tray parts also. I also hope they come out with an electric version, that should be a real good flying helicopter.

would say they will be, they have a E version of the SG so i cant see them making the new 50 nitro only, not when alot of people are going E.

they may even use the frames for an E version of the sylphide 50?

As of the IHobby show there were no plans on the electric version as yet. I would expect we will see the 50 NEX by Christmas and MAYBE the electric version will be shown at Toledo and then released to the States after IRCHA (as seems to be the trend).

The issue with Horizon picking which JR products they will and will not import

It's nice, but I'm struggling to see sufficient differences or improvements over and above my existing Vibe 50 to make me change.
Its great that its lighter in weight, but it's only by 150g.

Should I bother to change, or wait for the electric version to appear ??

Hmmmmm ???????
