If you believe there could be more than one God, then you done screwed up.
People believed in loads of different Gods before Christianity was invented. Here's a page which lists some of them. There are about 20 that start with the letter 'A' alone. We're not talking about Gods that were invented after the Christian God, most of these Gods came before.

http://ancienthistory.about.com/lib..._gods_index.htm

One of the very first known Gods was Horus. At that time, his worshippers believed that he was the one and only God, just like you do with the Christian God today.

As beliefs change and one religion becomes no longer suitable, another one more relevant to the day and age is invented, and the old one becomes a 'myth'. Christianity is just the latest one. Do some research on Horus and you'll see why he wouldn't go down too well today. It's all rather vulgar, but similarities to other religions are obvious.

I know and understand that there are other claims prior to the christian church. But Jesus was a Jew, and the Jews, Israelites, predate all these other false religions, they were in my opinion the ones that built the pyramids during their slavery to ancient Egypt. And if this is the case that puts them around 10,000BC, or between 2500-10,000BC in my opinion. They knew the real God, and only wrote about it much latter. This probably sounds far fetched to some, but I really believe it is correct. Well maybe not my personal quotes for the exact date, but I feel it's close to correct.

It's not very likely that either one of us, or any one of us on here will make the other believe, or show any credible proof for one thing or the other. In the end all we have are our opinions. And we each receive the right to be wrong, because every one cant be right.

Your not close or accurate in any sense

moses is supposed to take place roughly 1300BC ISH,, heavy on the ish sauce

Egyption had there own religion pre dating jews by thousands of years in which moses stole the ten commandments

Egyptions kept accurate records and there was no migration of jews ever in the 1300 range that would match up with biblical text

Like usual, the bible steals story's and fabricates them since they were never there and didnt know anything of the real history.

There was a migration of people roughly 1500BC and that is probably the loose truth on the whole moses story. The 10 plagues were probably related to the volcano in the aegean sea [Santorini] at the same time. according to some scholars and historians and was on a tv special exodus uncovered. Im not sold but some of it makes sense

wonder if we'd ever been 'visited'.
its very possible, UFO's are seen all the time on a yearly basis

with no air traffic back then there would have been only confusion with shooting stars and lightning.

I do not believe all the ancient alien garbage on TV they take a possible and turn into impossible

Good find. I'm reading it now. Although I already knew this to be true.

Acts 11:26 (New International Version)
26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.

You can't have more than one god, if you belived in many gods, and then died, how would your choosen god react if he found out you had been slipping around on him? I'd say he would not be very pleased with you.

If there were more than one god, then would they not be at odds with one another also? Of course they would. It would be like having a dozen presidents in the white house at the same time. It just cant work. But for the white house that might be a good idea. And kick them out every year and hire some bums off the street.

People love to throw that up, how can there be one god if all religions claim another god. Simple they are phonies. You can have many eggs, but only one hin on the nest. All other religions have hatched from a single source. Judaism, and christianity.

Genesis 1:26-27, which states “Then God said,

God was talking to the angels when he said that. He calls them the morning stars, they were present with him when he created the earth.

God was not speaking to other gods. But Angels that were with him.

job 38: 6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

The bible is pretty much writen in code, or parables. And it will only make since, if you open your mind, have a tiny ammount of faith, and give it a chance, instead of trying to discredit every single word.

The bible teachs us,

Isa 28:10 (KJV) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little

FIRST OF ALL ITS A GUIDE not ment to be read literally or as a history book.

Second its NOT code, its poems and fables to help guide you with fiction.

Parables yes it they were used .

people hve fought and died over translations,, TRUTH IS no one is right.
